Strengths:

This quarter I learned many different things about marketing that I had not before. I learned how to evaluate a video to see if its something that people want to watch. We have to make content that is going to be seen. “There has been car fanatics, music enthusiasts, and hobbyists of every sort.” The age of engage, Denise Shiffman. I have learned that you cannot make something and just expect people to watch it. Even if your material is something that is worth watching, you have to do something to start your audience to watch it. One thing that I had not payed much attention to was the amount of internet that is used now in the world. I had not given a thought about it because internet is now a part of our life that we cant live without. We use it without even noticing.”Marketing today is more about participation than selling – take questions, ask questions, get involved, and have fun.” The age of engage, Denise shiffman. I have learned that marketing now can make a fun environment because of the possibility of engaging your viewers. You will be able to keep your viewers attracted to your products by making such environments. “taking the advantages of the web, more products will have the opportunity to attract consumers, or easily be found by them.” The age of engage, Denise Shiffman. I learned the many ways that there are available to interact with your viewers to get their opinion and to get them to participate on your products. You can start polls to see what product is their favorite, Make contests, etc.

Weaknesses:

One of my main weakness was to find my voice. “An authentic voice is backed by all the company does and says.” The age of engage, Denise Shifman. It was hard to find a style in which to make all my videos. I could not determine what type to make. After making the videos, I found that people were not interested in them. I did not get many views. I think that I marketed my videos to the wrong audience. “products are often launched with hopes that customers will figure out why they want to buy it.” The age of engage, Denise shiffman. I made my videos not knowing why people would want to see them. I noticed that my videos started to get more hits when I advertised them to Spanish websites. I made videos that I wanted to watch but not that others would want to watch.

Opportunities:

I did a lot of research on all of my videos on youtube to see what demographics would be more interested in them. One thing that I took advantage of was that I can write in Spanish. I commented on many videos that were in Spanish about the same topic and marketed my videos to them. I also added tags in Spanish to the latest videos. I also took this class as an opportunity to market my videos to everyone for the first time. Before this class, I had not posted any of my videos anywhere before.

Threats:

One of my biggest threats is not being able to make material that all look like they have my voice. Not being able to find my audience is another. I need to find the main audience that will watch and like my videos. My biggest thing is to keep things organized and to remember who Im making the videos for.

Grade:

I think that my grade should be a "b". I worked hard to get noticed. I think that I didnt get enough hits because I was not able to find my audience. I think that I didnot figure out who to target. I worked on marketing my videos to many different people. I marketed them to spanish speakers and got a good result from that. I worked on hard on my videos to make them watchable and to make them marketable to different people, but I did not get a good response from them. I think that If I would have marketed them to spanish speakers earlier, then I would have gotten more hits.

Amount of hits

Mastercard = 263
Animation = 255
Oreo = 289
Axe = 444
Cellphone = 658
Total = 1918

Videos

I noticed a big change in one of my videos. i added the word las vegas and strip to my car crash video and It started getting alot of hits. The car crash is the one with the most hits followed by the AXE commercial.
